But why? Not only is it good business etiquette, but it increases productivity, efficiency, and helps to avoid potential problems.
How does that translate to Operations in a PR firm? A swift response from clients (such as when scheduling interviews) helps to pin down that very specific time that works best for you. If multiple people need to be coordinated, a delay in response from anyone can slow the process greatly; in this fast-paced world, those “avails” that are given at 10:00 a.m. may be completely booked by 2:00 p.m.
I know you are busy (and we all can get lost scrolling on social media for distractions every now and then), but make yourself, and your time, a priority! Respond to those emails promptly!
